This is a working document from Grow, translated from the Spanish original for readers of this portfolio. It is included as evidence of program design and of how a syllabus can be written to enroll rather than merely to inform. Figures are as published at the time.
A twenty-one module program taking someone from no formal marketing background to employable digital generalist — strategy, research, content, creativity, influencer marketing, SEO, email, ecommerce, UX, social, paid media, design and editing. Over 200 pre-recorded lessons, filmed in studio.
The first course we ever built was Digital Marketing, back in 2017. The industry kept growing exponentially, generating more jobs and new specialisms, and we kept teaching through all of it — adapting the programs to changes that force you to stay current. This edition, now structured as a full career track, has years of work behind it: years of understanding what our students need in order to connect with the job market, and a rethink of how people actually learn.
Different instructors teach you this digital profession, bringing what they deal with daily at large brands. The recorded classes are interactive on purpose — they send you to look at references, download apps, follow accounts, search things. After each one you complete activities that reinforce what you learned. On the practical side there are submitted assignments with video feedback from instructors, and a final integrative exam you have to pass to receive the diploma.
Enrolling also subscribes you to everything relevant we find online that can help you grow in this profession, and to our Discord community, with private channels for people who took this course. That's where you ask questions, network, argue about digital topics, share news, and get help when Meta blocks your account and you have no idea what to do.
Finally, if you pass the final exam and receive the certificate, you can upload your CV to our database — so we can send you job openings, or put your profile forward when companies ask us for good students.
This is an entry-level course that reaches fairly advanced ground. It works whether you want to learn enough for your own venture or to work in the field professionally. The minimum you should already have is basic command of your own social accounts.
Delivered on an interactive platform with exercises, supplementary material and a video forum. Pre-recorded classes, your own pace, instructor feedback rather than tutors.
Activities after every lesson, submitted assignments returned with video feedback from the instructor who set them, and a final integrative exam. The diploma is only issued on passing it.
Why it's built this way: a recorded course with no obligation on the student finishes at around a tenth of the completion rate of one with real deadlines and a real examiner. The exam isn't there to be strict. It's there so the certificate means something to an employer.
